Our client is a project controls and program management firm delivering on large-scale data center construction. They are adding two Senior Project Schedulers to a build in Richmond, Virginia.

This is a full-time on-site seat. You own the schedule end to end — development, progress integration, risk analysis, and reporting across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. The expectation is that critical path activities are accurate because you validated them in the field, not because someone emailed you a percentage.

Worth noting on comp: the subsistence and relocation package here is real money on top of base — up to $3,000 per month subsistence, up to $10,000 relocation reimbursement, plus performance bonuses.

The Role

What you will own

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze the Primavera P6 schedule for a large-scale data center build
  • Build WBS structures, activity coding, calendars, and logic ties that reflect actual sequencing
  • Run weekly update cycles with project managers, superintendents, trade partners, and commissioning teams
  • Validate progress, percent complete, and remaining durations directly with field leadership
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting with clear risks and recommended actions
  • Run schedule risk reviews and scenario modeling against major constraints and delays
  • Hold baseline integrity, track variances, and surface early-warning indicators before they become recovery problems
  • Partner with procurement to integrate long-lead equipment and delivery paths
  • Align the construction schedule to commissioning sequences for critical power and mechanical systems

Requirements

What we need to see

  • 5+ years of scheduling experience on large capital projects
  • Expert-level Primavera P6
  • Strong background in data centers, heavy electrical, or heavy mechanical construction
  • Willingness to work directly with field teams to validate logic and durations
  • Solid understanding of commissioning workflows, critical path flow, and equipment startup
  • The ability to make a complicated schedule problem simple for the people who need to decide on it
  • Bachelor’s in engineering, construction, or related field preferred

Package

Benefits

  • Subsistence up to $3,000 per month
  • Relocation reimbursement up to $10,000
  • Performance bonuses
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays
