Our client is a project controls and program management firm working on the owner’s side of large data center programs. They are hiring a Senior Project Scheduler to represent the owner across a multi-site build.

The structure is three weeks remote, one week on site. That on-site week is the point — it is where you validate that reported progress matches what is actually installed, and where your reporting earns its credibility.

This is an owner’s-rep seat, not a contractor seat. You are the party driving transparency and holding the schedule honest.

The Role

What you will own

  • Lead schedule development, coordination, and analysis as the owner’s representative across a multi-site data center program
  • Build and maintain Primavera P6 schedules with complete logic, coding, and activity structure
  • Run weekly update cycles with project managers, field teams, design partners, and commissioning leads
  • Use your site weeks to validate progress, sequencing, and remaining durations firsthand
  • Produce weekly and monthly reporting with real risk indicators and recommended actions — not just status
  • Run schedule risk reviews and scenario modeling
  • Enforce baseline integrity and route changes through structured change management
  • Fold long-lead procurement, manufacturing, and equipment delivery into the schedule
  • Tie construction activities to commissioning and startup paths for critical power and mechanical systems

Requirements

What we need to see

  • 5+ years of scheduling on large capital or data center projects
  • Strong Primavera P6 proficiency
  • Prior owner-side or owner’s-representative experience
  • A track record of validating field progress through structured review, not desk assumption
  • Solid grasp of commissioning logic, MEP coordination, and critical path behavior
  • The communication ability to turn dense schedule data into decisions leadership can act on
  • Bachelor’s in engineering, construction, or related field preferred

Package

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k)
  • PTO and paid holidays
  • Professional development support
