Our client is a project controls and program management firm delivering on large-scale data center construction. They are adding two Project Schedulers to a campus build in Indiana.

This is a fully remote seat working directly alongside senior controls leadership. It is built as a development role — you carry real schedule ownership with structured mentorship behind you, and a defined path deeper into project controls.

The Role

What you will own

  • Build and maintain the Primavera P6 schedule for a large data center build, working alongside senior leadership
  • Set up WBS structures, activity coding, calendars, and logic ties that mirror how the work actually gets sequenced in the field
  • Pull weekly progress from project managers, superintendents, trade partners, and commissioning teams
  • Validate percent complete and remaining durations instead of taking reported numbers at face value
  • Draft schedule updates, milestone reports, and trend summaries for senior review and client reporting
  • Track long-lead equipment and delivery impacts alongside procurement
  • Hold baseline integrity, log variances, and document changes cleanly enough to survive an audit
  • Build working familiarity with commissioning sequences for critical power and mechanical systems

Requirements

What we need to see

  • 3 to 5 years of scheduling or project controls experience on construction or large capital projects
  • Working proficiency in Primavera P6
  • Data center, heavy electrical, or heavy mechanical exposure — or a real appetite to get there
  • Ability to read construction drawings and hold your own in a conversation with field supervision
  • Discipline about schedule data integrity
  • Genuine self-direction; this is a distributed team and nobody is looking over your shoulder
  • Bachelor’s in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience

Package

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k)
  • PTO and paid holidays
  • Professional development and training support
